In a virtual chassis configuration, one switch functions as the primary and another as the backup routing engine, while remaining switch elements act as line cards. If the primary fails, the backup takes over with the same failover capabilities as a chassis-based system.

Enhanced Network Resiliency

The Juniper EX3400 48T provides superior network reliability through redundant link aggregation connections and link aggregation control protocol support. The redundant trunk group feature maintains uninterrupted access to mission-critical applications by ensuring network continuity even during link failures.

Comprehensive Spanning Tree Support

The EX3400 48T supports various spanning tree protocol implementations including Rapid Spanning Tree Protocol (RSTP) and Multiple Spanning Tree Protocol (MSTP), enabling network administrators to build highly resilient unified systems that prevent network loops while ensuring path redundancy.

This warranty covers hardware defects under normal use and allows for repair, replacement, or in-house credit at our discretion.

For resellers and wholesale purchases, we offer a 30-Day Warranty limited strictly to functional issues or defects upon arrival, including dead-on-arrival (DOA) items; it does not apply to problems arising after prolonged use. Resellers are responsible for inspecting and testing products within the 30-day window. Software licenses are not covered under the standard return and warranty policies and need to be activated on the hardware within 7 days of receipt. Any issues need to be reported immediately, within 10 days, so we can issue an exchange. Under no circumstances will refunds be issued for software licenses.
